 I offer a variety of editing and writing services to fit your needs:
  • Copyediting: editing for grammar, usage, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style; checking for consistency of mechanics and for internal consistency of facts; clarifying meaning; eliminating jargon; and polishing language
  • Substantive editing: clarifying or reorganizing a manuscript for content and structure; may include rewriting and reorganizing some of the text
  • Layout (structural) editing: formatting the design and layout of the text
  • Manuscript evaluation
  • Reference/bibliography formatting
  • Fact checking
  • Writing: book back matter and synopses,  book proposals, reports, newsletters, brochures, and various marketing/promotional materials
  • Text formatting to follow publishing industry standards
  • Design services: I also offer some design services including page layout, typesetting, image preparation, and chart, graph, and table design
